Maria Almaca

Maria Almaça currently holds the position of Associate in the Investment Banking Division. Previous to this, and since April 2015 when Maria first joined the team, she held the role of Equity Research Analyst. Prior to AXIA, Maria worked as a member of the Institutional Sales Team of Banco BiG for three years, between 2012 and 2015, after holding the position of Equity Analyst within the Research Department of the bank from 2010 to 2011. Between these two positions at Banco BiG, she worked briefly at Deutsche Bank España on an ALM project. Maria graduated from the NOVA School of Business and Economics with an MSc in Finance and from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) with an MSc in International Management. Maria also obtained her Undergraduate degree in Economics from NOVA School of Business and Economics. In 2014, Maria became an accredited CFA charterholder.
